I was instantly greeted by the front desk staff and was felt right at home. Unlike most dental offices, I did not wait the standard hour and was seen within a few minutes of my scheduled appointment time . Had an amazing experience. My cleaning was efficient and hygienist was friendly and knowledgeable.

Incredibly friendly professional service. I was talked through each step of the appointment and they made sure I understood everything and answered all of my questions. I could not recommend them enough!

Thank you, Dr. Tanya and Christelle for your professional work. I am very grateful for the dentist’s work because I feel no pain. She is very soft and gentle. I felt she gave very honest advice. Also, I feel this clinic does not hunt people for money like other clinics I have heard of from friends. Good luck.
My tooth was examined, I am aware of what must be done to keep my tooth is the best shape and most importantly I have the best smile on my face now. The staffs we respectful and very caring. They all put excellence in the services offered to me. I would always return for the care of my tooth.
I’ve been going here for around a year now and really love it. Street parking is very easy to find, and not going to break the bank.
They also have good availability even for people who can’t take time off work for appointments.
I don’t have any previous dental trauma, but I would recommend this place to anyone who does. They are very gentle and kind.
Dr. Tanya was very kind, and she has an excellent experience.
She advised me to see a specialist about an old root canal, she did that with explaining the reason and gave me the choice on what to do next.

Sadly, I've had many occasions to visit dentists throughout my life, but happily, I was introduced to Dr. Lysik some years ago, and she (and her team) have been excellent. Never a second of discomfort, first-class work, and simply wonderful people. I used to dread going to a dentist, and no hyperbole - I actually look forward to it now. They are that good.

I have been to quite a few different dental offices in Ottawa and Gatineau and I have to say that I finally found the one! I have never had a one-hour hygiene cleaning before and Christelle is one-of-a-kind! It was the best cleaning I have ever gotten, very thorough and meticulous, she takes her time with every patient, and you leave with your mouth feeling so clean and healthy. My teeth even looked a shade whiter!

I left a practice in Gatineau because they wanted to basically put crowns on all my molars, costing me over $10K in dental work, and insisting that all my gums were bleeding, and that I needed periodontal cleanings. I am so grateful I found Florence Dentistry when I did, not only did I not require all the crowns (I only needed one), Christelle checked all my gum measurements, and they weren’t even bleeding!
Dr. Mohammed is wonderful, she makes you feel comfortable and during my filling and crown appointments, she took great care of me, and I barely felt a thing! The dental assistants are super nice as well.
As a bonus, this clinic does direct billing with your insurance. Not many places do this anymore.
Tayris, the receptionist, is very friendly and welcoming. She’s always available, by phone or by email. The office is very clean and centrally located in downtown Ottawa. They even have free parking on the side of their building.

Went in for a cleaning and found that the entire staff was super friendly. My hygienist Kim was great! She was so thorough and gave me an excellent dental cleaning. She is very friendly and chatted with me the whole time which I truly enjoyed. We just moved to Ottawa and are pleased to have just found our new dental office here!

I have been coming to this dental office for more than 10 years and have seen many hygienists over the years, but my most recent visit with Zainab was exceptional. It was my first time being treated by her, and she went above and beyond by providing thorough explanations about my dental health throughout the appointment. She also took the time to recommend specific products that have truly helped improve my detailed hygiene routine. Her care and attention made a positive difference, and I am very grateful for her outstanding service.

My first time going to a dentist in a few years, hesitant with selecting one. But I was not disappointed in the selection I made. The dental hygienist did a really amazing job cleaning my teeth, it was a bit rough but my teeth have never felt better! I can honestly say that I have never had a cleaning so good!! The receptionists are absolutely wonderful and helpful they were so amazing to my son, absolutely kind and lovely to deal with! I recommend this dental office over and over and Over again! 10/10

I have tried a few Dentist offices in my life, but it wasn’t until I found Florence Dentistry 10 years ago, that I realized what I was missing. The care of service, professional excellence and complete package vibe is second to none. Christelle is the best dental technician I’ve ever experienced - absolutely no question the best in the city if not the country. I watched her recently give my children their first cleanings and I thought “they are doing this in the right place!” Dr Lysyk is the most careful, kind and engaging dentist I’ve ever had- she’s amazing. The administration and billing is seamless and it’s a lovely environment. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher.

Florence Dentistry is simply one of the best dental care teams I have had. They have been taking care of my teeth for over 3 years now and I continue to be very pleased with their services. Christelle is my usual hygienist, and she is the best. They are very professional and always available for urgent care. Highly recommend.

The location couldn’t be more convenient — it’s close to both my work and home, which makes scheduling appointments so easy.
The staff always greet you with a smile, and the dentists are incredibly kind, patient, and professional. I used to be terrified of dental visits, but coming here has really eased that fear. Their gentle approach and genuine care make such a difference.
They even give out free dental kits after appointments, which is such a thoughtful touch. The office is great about scheduling too — super flexible and accommodating.
Another huge plus is that they bill my insurance (Empire Life) directly, and they can handle other insurance companies as well.
The prices are very reasonable, and they often offer free whitening, which is amazing value.
I actually switched to Florence Dental from another clinic, and I’m so glad I did. The entire experience here — from the friendly reception team to the quality of care — has been outstanding.
I will update more pictures from the clinic at my next appointment. It's a pretty good interior and not scary at all!!

After 20+ years, I am still so impressed by Dr Wakter and his staff, all of them including the wonderful receptionists, Melissa and Patricia.
They are so professional without losing their warmth and personal interest in you.
Kim is the best dental hygienist because she is also very warm, reassuring and encouraging. Janelle is also professional but makes you feel truly cared about while assisting Dr Wakter
Zainab is my husband’s hygienist and he reports high praise for her as well.
As for Dr Wakter, I feel so blessed to have him dealing with every single issue over the years. I am now 75 and have needed many procedures for fillings, crowns, root canals and help with referrals to other professionals for surgery.
He also understands and helps with cosmetic tweaks like filling a slight gap between my front teeth and choosing to use a white filling instead of silver when asked.
I do not know how I was lucky enough to have this excellent doctor for so many years !
My husband has had the same longevity with Dr Wakter and feels the same way.
